  1. On your Mac, open the Finder. Type Finder after using Command-Space Bar to open Spotlight.
  2. Click on Go in the top menu bar, then choose Go to Folder.
  3. Hit Return after typing “/Library.”
  4. Find the Logs folder and double-click it to open it.
  5. Click twice on the DiagnosticReports button.
  6. Type “sleep” into the search box (the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the window).
  7. Look for a recent file called Sleep Wake Failure… in the list of results.
  8. Right-click (Control-click) on the file, then choose Move to Trash.
  9. Close your Mac down (Apple menu > Shutdown).
  10. Wait 30 seconds, and then press the power button to turn on your Mac. The message shouldn’t show up when you log in any more.
