Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey Rating: Some people might not like seeing their favorite childhood characters reimagined as sadistic, wild killers, but horror fans will surely be interested, as the recent talk about Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey shows.

The independent slasher movie is based on the famous character created by English author A. A. Milne and illustrator E. H. Shepard. It was directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield.

Forbes says that Winnie the Pooh is now in the public domain, which means that filmmakers and artists can do whatever they want with the humanized bear and his animal friend Piglet.

The first trailer for the project just came out, and it looks like it will be a strange time at the movies. What is the Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey rating, though?

Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey Rating?

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is rated R, according to The Mary Sue.

This might not be too surprising, since the movie is being marketed as a violent slasher that will ruin some childhood memories of spending time with Pooh while reading a book or watching TV.

Blood and Honey is set a long time after the things we usually think of as happening on the property. Christopher Robin, who used to be a child, is now an adult. When he went to college, he had to leave his forest friends behind.

Now that he is married, he goes back to see them but finds that they have become wild because they don’t have enough food.

Pooh and Piglet have eaten friends like Eeyore, and now they want to get back at Christopher and a group of college students who are taking a break in their home.

Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey In talk

“Pooh and Piglet don’t feel bad about what they do, and they’re pretty cruel… Pooh and Piglet have always been alone. I pictured Pooh as the leader of the two, and I asked the actors to play him that way. So he is Piglet’s alpha male, and he is always in charge of the camp.
