What happened to Shipment 24/7 in MW2? In 2023, this is the first update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. But this is by no means a major update.
It only makes small changes to playlists and maps, like taking away the Shipment 24/7 playlist. Read on to find out why the Shipment was taken out of MW2 and when it might come back.
Why is Shipment 24/7 gone from MW2?
So, is Shipment for MW2 gone? Yes, the developers have confirmed that this update includes a new 24/7 playlist.
Shoot House 24/7 is back! Like in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, the developers at Infinity Ward are choosing to switch between these two playlists: Shoot House 24/7 and Shipment 24/7. And now is the perfect time to start playing the Shoot House 24/7 playlist.
Some players are sad about this because Shipment has been a great place for them to grind camos. So, if you already miss your perfect place to work on gold and platinum camo, you might be wondering when the playlist will be back in MW2. What we know is as follows.
When will Shipment 24/7 for MW2 return?
The developers seem to be using the same idea as they did in MW2, where the two playlists were often switched around. On December 21, 2023, a week after the Shipment map was added to the game, the Shipment 24/7 playlist was added.
This means that the playlist has been in the game for about 20 days. And now Shoot House 24/7 has taken its place. So, we expect the MW2 Shipment 24/7 playlist to come back around February 1, 2023, when Season 2 of MW2 starts.
Most likely, the developers will add a playlist like “Shoot the Ship” at some point. This one will make a 24/7 playlist with both maps.
This has already been done in Call of Duty: MW 2019. Since they are following the same pattern, we expect MW2 to have the same combined 24/7 playlist. So, now you know why MW2 Shipment 24/7 is gone and when it’s likely to come back.
