You may have noticed that Madmartigan, who was played by Val Kilmer in the first movie, is not in the new one.
But Boorman is a good replacement because he is also a skilled swordsman, just like the original character. We find out that he is in jail because he was caught stealing, but he is soon let out of jail and invited to join the main characters on their quest.
We’ll learn more about him as the story goes on, but for now, he’s a good addition to the group and a promising new character.
