But even though Nora is fearless, she is fighting a creature that only existed in Norwegian folklore.

Troll was filmed in a number of different places all over Norway.
Yes, the Norwegians who worked on the movie didn’t have to go too far because it was shot in their own country.
The project’s filming began in August 2021 and went on for about three months, ending in November of that year.
Filming took place all over Norway, in places like Lom, yer, and the mountainous Dovre, where the movie’s troll is said to have come from.
Other places that were used were the coastal town of Ulsteinvik, the riverside village of Rena, and the town of Askim in Indre stfold.
In Troll, the beautiful Romsdalen valley and the Jotunheimen mountain range were used as backdrops. The cities of Drammen and Oslo, which is the capital of Norway, were also used for cityscape scenes and studio shoots.

Scenes from the sci-fi epic Dune and the Marvel movies Black Widow and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness were also shot in Norway.
Scenes from the TV shows Ragnarok, Vikings, and Succession have all been filmed in this Scandinavian country. The Star Wars movie The Empire Strikes Back also used Norway to stand in for the icy planet Hoth.
