The results of the DNA test showed her that she had a cousin in the English countryside who was very wealthy. When that cousin introduces Evie to his friend Walter (Thomas Doherty), who is handsome and rich, it feels like a dream come true. But Evie’s dream falls apart when she learns about the dark and twisted past of her family.

Is The Invitation On Netflix?
Not right now, but one day it will be. The Invitation won’t be on Netflix before it comes out on video-on-demand, but Sony signed a deal last year to bring the studio’s 2022 film slate to Netflix during the “Pay 1 window.”
This used to be 18 months after the film’s theatrical release, but it could be even sooner now that most theatrical windows have been cut from 90 days to 45 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, Sony’s movie “Uncharted” was on Netflix only five months after it first came out in theaters. That means it’s possible that The Invitation will be on Netflix in the first few months of 2023.
