Where is Xur Today? Destiny 2 July 2 Location
Guardians of Destiny 2 will be looking for Xur today on Nessus, The Tower, or The EDZ, which are all places he could be.
WHAT’S NEW: Where is Xur now? Guardians have found him, and the elusive merchant can be found on Nessus near The Watcher’s Grave. On July 2, Xur will sell the following rare things:
- Lord of Wolves Energy Shotgun
- Hawkmoon Kinetic Hand Cannon
- Dead Man’s Tale Kinetic Scout Rifle
- Celestial Nighthawk Hunter Helmet
- An Insurmountable Skullfort Titan Helmet
- Crown of Tempests
Bungie won’t say where to find the elusive merchant, so fans will have to find his current stash.
And since a midseason weapons update is coming soon, fans will be hoping that Xur’s exotic weapons for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC will get a few changes to make them more useful.
Where is Xur Today in Destiny 2: News
Xur won’t be back in Destiny 2 until Friday, July 1, 2022, at 6 p.m. BST, for those who are already looking for him. This means that North American gamers have to wait until 10 a.m. PDT to look for the exotics merchant.
As usual, Xur will come back to the game with some new Legendary gear and a bunch of strange weapons and armor. The Merciless Energy Fusion Rifle, The Gwisin Vest Hunter Chest Armor, The Citan’s Ramparts Titan Gauntlets, The Eye of Another World, The Hawkmoon Kinetic Hand Cannon, and The Dead Man’s Tale were all exotic items that Xur was selling last week for regular currency.
There are also hopes that the normal set of exotics will get better with the next midseason Weapons update. There is a chance that the current roster could be changed, but most of Bungie’s attention is on rebalancing popular weapons and how well they work in PvP.

Here are some of the key takeaways that have been disclosed so far for the midseason update to the Weapons system: “The Last Word has reached a level of usage on controller that warranted some adjustment. As a result of this change, it will be slightly more difficult to land critical hits while hip-firing, and it will deal less damage when fired at a greater distance.
“Gjallarhorn is much too dominant as a Heavy weapon choice in PvP and Gambit,” said one player. “Due to proximity detonation making it very easy to use, and Wolfpack Rounds finishing Guardians who should be far enough away to be safe,” said another player. “Gjallarhorn is a terrible choice for a Heavy weapon.”
As soon as we have confirmation of the newest gear, we will update this article to include the most recent location of Xur as of July 1 as well as a list of the exotics that he is currently selling. It’s possible that some weeks will be better than others, and since Bungie just recently patched a bug that allowed players to lock Xur in an old instance, Guardians will want to make sure they aren’t passing up any opportunities for good rolls.
