What are Gimmighoul Coins in Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Coins are a type of collectible that can be found throughout the Paldea region. These coins are dropped by Gimmighoul Pokemon in their Wandering and Chest forms.

You can use these coins to evolve your Gimmighoul Pokemon to Gholdengo. However, you must first obtain 999 Gimmighoul Coins in PSV.

How to Find the Gimmighoul Coins in PSV

Gimmighoul Coins can be found by finding the Wandering and Chest forms of Gimmighoul.

In terms of the Wandering form, you can obtain Coins simply by interacting with these Pokemon. Each Wandering or Roaming Gimmighoul can give you 1 to 10 Gimmighoul Coins.

However, you must seek them out in the open world. So, here are all of Roaming Gimmighoul’s locations:

  1. If you want to find more coins, you may need to go to their Chest form.
  2. When you find a Chest-form Gimmighoul, you must defeat them in battle to obtain the Coins.
  3. If you defeat them in battle, they will reward you with 50-80 Gimmighoul Coins.
  4. The drop rate of these coins varies depending on your level. By defeating the Chest Form, you can earn up to 777 Coins. However, keep in mind that the rates are quite low for that.

The Gholdengo Pokemon can only be obtained by evolving the Gimmighoul Pokemon. Collect as many Gimmighoul Coins as you can to reach 999.
