Warhammer 40,000 Darktide Psyker Abilities

by Ami Dalsania

Warhammer 40,000 Darktide Psyker Abilities: In the Warhammer 40k universe, there are Psykers in many different groups. They are beings with different levels of psychic abilities. Psykers are beings who are very smart, strong, and sometimes crazy.

All psychic energy in the universe comes from the Warp or the Immaterium, which is where psykers get their powers. In Darktide, we can play as a Psyker and give them powerful psychic abilities that can crush the heads of any enemy who gets in our way.

But this great power doesn’t come for free. A mind that hasn’t been trained runs the risk of being taken over by demons from the Warp, going crazy, or being corrupted by the Ruinous Powers of Chaos.

Psykinetic’s Wrath ability

Set the Perils of the Warp meter back to zero and stun all enemies in front of you.

As the Psyker keeps using their powers, Perils of the Warp builds up. This is like Sienna’s Overcharge meter in Vermintide 2. If a Psyker casts too much and goes over 100%, they will lose control and give in to the Warp. They will explode with psychic energy and get knocked down.

When you use Psykinetic’s Wrath, the Perils of the Warp meter goes back to 0. This lets you kill more heads without having to vent. The huge area-of-effect stun is also a very powerful way to push back hordes or stun elites to give them some breathing room.

Warp Siphon

Using your brain to kill an enemy With Burst, you get a pile of Warp Charge. Each charge increases damage by 3%. Warp Charges can be stacked up to four times and last for 20 seconds.

Warp Siphon gives you more total damage scaling, which is different from other Darktide skills that boost only one type of damage. Each time you explode a head, your ranged and melee power increases for a short time. Since Warp Siphon lasts for 20 seconds, it’s easy to keep your stacks.

Inner Tranquility: Cut the amount of Peril made by 10%

A small buff that lowers the amount of Peril you get from using magic. It ends up being a big buff, but if Fat Shark adds another Psyker class to build in Darktide, we’ll see how much the Psykinetic can cast compared to other Psykers.

Kinetic Presence: Allies in Coherency do 10% more damage to elite enemies when they are in Coherency.

Kinetic Presence helps everyone kill heavily armored elites like Scab Maulers, which on higher difficulties can be very tanky. This also makes it easier for the Psyker to use Brain Burst to quickly get rid of these threats before they can hurt your team.

Brain Burst: Choose one enemy to attack. After a short time, this ability crushes the head of the target, doing a lot of damage.

This is what any Psyker Psykinetic build in Darktide is built around. It gives them a powerful way to crush the heads of any enemy, no matter how close or far away.

Brain Burst goes through any armor, so you can kill threats close up like Bulwarks or far away like Snipers. Brain Burst also takes up the spot where other classes in Darktide would put a grenade. This means that the Psyker’s Blitz ability doesn’t need anything else to work.
