Wall-E Quest Bug Fire Extinguisher Not in Inventory in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Wall-E Quest Bug Fire Extinguisher Not in Inventory in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Disney Dreamlight Valley is now available in early access for a few days. Some bugs and issues are unavoidable at that stage of development. The particularly vexing glitch is related to the “Shy Little Robot” quest, Wall-main E’s friendship quest.

If your Garnets for Scrooge McDuck aren’t registering or your Fire Extinguisher is missing, keep reading to find out what we know.

Wall-E Quest Bug Fire Extinguisher & Garnets

You must complete a series of tasks from Wall-E in order to bring him back to your village. These favors are based on Pixar’s iconic 2008 film. And, if you’ve seen the movie, you should be able to recall them. The Fire Extinguisher scene is probably the most well-known, so it’s only fitting that it’s included in the game.

Wall-E will request a Fire Extinguisher as part of the “Shy Little Robot” quest. Merlin will tell you that Scrooge McDuck is selling one. But he doesn’t want just gold for it. Rather, he’ll ask you to mine two Garnets for him. And now we have two flaws.

The first bug is that the game says you’ve been given the Fire Extinguisher, but you don’t have it in your inventory when you check for it.

This prevents you from completing the quest. Fortunately, this does not happen to everyone, but a sizable number of players are affected.

Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround for the bug. Some players claim that saving and restarting the game will update the quest, but this is not completely confirmed.

The bright side is that developers are aware of the bug and are working to fix it.

We don’t know when the fix will be available, or if you’ll have to restart the game. Another issue that players face here is that Garnets mined for Scrooge do not register.

No matter how many you find, the quest counter remains at 0/2. Restarting the game has proven to be a viable solution for this issue.
