Why does my card keep declining?

Your card may be declined for a variety of reasons, including: the card has expired; you have exceeded your credit limit; the card issuer detects suspicious activity that may indicate fraud; or a hotel, rental car company, or other business has placed a block (or hold) on your card for the estimated total of your bill.

Why is my Apple ID not accepting my card?

Add a new payment method or update your payment information if your card was declined. Multiple payment methods can be added to your Apple ID. The unpaid balance will be charged to your payment method. After that, you can make additional purchases and update your apps, including those that are free.
