On Thursday (the 30th of June), Tumblr made the decision to flip its layout the other way and even include a clock on the home page, which caused some users to become perplexed.
On the homepage as well as the other categories on the top bar, the letter ‘t’ appears to be backwards.
Users rushed in a panic to Twitter in an attempt to make sense of what was going on there almost immediately.
A user tweeted, “so I guess tumblr is upside down today, I was so confused,” and another user tweeted, I was so confused.”
Another user commented, in reference to the most recent changes, that they wished Tumblr would not make them because “it just confused the hell out of me and I can’t read.”
In addition to the tweets that have already been mentioned, another user wrote, “what the hell has Tumblr done to its layout NOW?”

Users of Tumblr reported feeling uneasy after discovering that the website’s layout had been turned upside down, along with a clock that they had never seen before.
People are using Twitter to share their opinions about the changes they made to the microblogging site, which has caused it to become the topic of conversation on Twitter.
Stranger Things season 4 Volume 2 with Tumblr?
It would appear that the social networking website has collaborated with Netflix to promote the upcoming release of Volume 2 of Stranger Things season 4, which is scheduled for the first of July in 2022.
The new format makes a reference to a different dimension that exists in the parallel realm that the show takes place in.
And the clock is the reoccurring image of a grandfather’s clock, which is thought to have some connection to the beginning of Vecna.
However, there is a range of responses to the changes being made. Some viewers of the show believe the alterations were not required while others believe it makes the show even cooler.
One user tweeted, “Tumblr is doing some upside down stuff right now this is cool,” referring to the site’s recent changes.
Another user commented, “The Tumblr layout for stranger things is inverted, and I think that’s really cool.”
Another person chimed in, saying, “Tumblr turning itself upside down seems a bit unnecessary in my opinion.”
Netflix with spotify for upside down viewing experience
In addition to collaborating with Spotify to provide its subscribers with an inverted viewing experience, Netflix is leaving no stone unturned in its preparations for the release of the second volume of the fourth season of Stranger Things.
The music platform service has collaborated with the streaming service to develop a playlist called “Upside Down” that is based on your most recent favorite picks. These include the songs from the show that you have enjoyed the most and the songs that you have listened to the most.
