Thor love and thunder post credit scene 2: The scenes after the credits end in Thor: Love and Thunder are not to be missed. And now that the movie is on Disney Plus, we can pause, rewatch, and break down every part of these epic final twists. Thor 4, directed by Taika Waititi, has two extra scenes at the end that could change the future of the MCU. So, if you want to know more about what happens and how it might affect you, you’ve come to the right place.
To start things off, here’s a breakdown of when the Thor: Love and Thunder post-credits scenes happen in the movie without giving anything away.
This means that you know how long you’ll be watching on Disney Plus before you press the play button. Then, for those of you who have already seen the movie, we explained what happens, who is in it, and what the cast and crew have to say about it.
There are two extra scenes at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder. The first one comes after the stylized credits with all of the major stars and cameos. After the full credits have played for about four minutes, the second scene starts.

The second scene after the credits comes at the very end. This one explains how Natalie Portman’s character, Jane, got to Valhalla after dying in Thor’s arms.
When she passes through the gates of the afterlife and meets Heimdall, the scene starts (Idris Elba). He thanks her for helping to take care of his son, Astrid, or Axl, as he calls him, while she looks on with wide eyes.
It’s a good ending for Portman’s Jane, who looks happy and healthy and can now rest after fighting cancer. (In case you missed some of the other deaths in Thor: Love and Thunder, we have a list of everyone who dies in the movie.)
It’s not clear if we’ll see Portman’s Foster again or not. There is a chance that she could show up in visions or scenes from the afterlife. If not, it’s a good way to say goodbye to the beloved MCU character. Also, it’s great to see Heimdall. At the start of Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos killed him, and we hadn’t seen Elba’s gatekeeper since then.
We get a sort of last gift after the credits. After the Valhalla scene is over, it is clear that “Thor will return.” There’s no more information, but it’s a good sign that Hemsworth will be back as the God of Thunder soon for a possible Thor 5.
But it looks like Waititi and Hemsworth didn’t know about this last twist. “I’m not making this up. I saw it in the theater and was like, ‘Oh, shit. Really?’ Even Chris was like, ‘What?'” Waititi told Insider (opens in new tab). “But of course he’ll be back. He’s the best character. I may be a little biased, but he’s the most enjoyable to watch.”
He added, “Now, I don’t know what would come next. I would definitely do one if Chris did it, but it would have to be something shocking and unexpected for me to want to do it. Like, what would be the fresh take?”
