Spider-man: No Way Home Re-release Post-credit Scene: The MCU movie was first shown in 2021 and was well received by both critics and audiences. Some even said it was the best Spider movie ever made, beating out Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 in some lists.

But people have been invited to see a longer version with brand new footage. The new version of the movie came out in theaters on September 22, 2022, and yes, the new version has a new scene after the credits.

It’s possible that you remember that the second post-credit scene in the theatrical cut was simply the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, if the re-release were to show this trailer, it would no longer be relevant.

In its place, a brand-new scene has been inserted into the story.

As the date of graduation draws near, Betty Brant is reportedly in charge of directing the final news segment, which will reflect on the many memories that have been shared with the students.

She shows pictures of things that happened during the trip to Europe that we saw in the movie Far From Home as well as the school’s decathlon. However, there is a striking absence in all of the photographs, and that is Peter Parker. He is nowhere to be seen in any of the pictures.

Following Peter’s request that he be removed from everyone’s memory, Doctor Strange casts a spell at the end of the movie, which this supplemental scene comments on. The pictures show that he has disappeared from the record of previous events and, as a result, the records of his own past.

Even though it’s clear from the pictures that Peter is no longer a part of the memories shared by his friends and classmates, there is a moment that makes it seem like his memory lives on in some way.

In the last act, Peter goes to the coffee shop and runs into MJ, who doesn’t remember him because of the spell. On the other hand, it’s important to note that she’s still wearing the other half of the necklace.

This proves that what happened with Spider-Man and the bad guys really did happen and that Peter did ask for all memories of himself, but not of Spider-Man, to be erased. A potential loophole.

Taking this into account, his friends should still remember him, and maybe Ned and MJ will still be friends with the web-slinger.
