Beverage Products Recalled Over Potential Contamination
A company statement from July 28 said that Lyons Magnus is taking 53 drinks off the shelves because they might be contaminated with Cronobacter sakazakii.
The company said that no illnesses or complaints had been reported as of yet, but they decided to recall the drinks because some people may be more likely to get sick if they are weak or don’t have strong immune systems.
On the FDA’s website, it says, “Anyone who has a recalled product should get rid of it right away or return it to the place where they bought it for a refund.
“Consumers in all time zones can call the Lyons Recall Support Center at 1-800-627-0557 or go to www.lyonsmagnus.com to ask questions. Working with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, this recall is happening.
The company said that the drinks being recalled do not include those made for babies (under the age of one).
