Modern Warfare 2 Weapon Vault: This upcoming addition to the game will have a brand new system, and we are going to go over it in detail. Vaults appear to be going to play a pretty significant role in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, based on what we know so far.
Therefore, it will be useful to have some prior knowledge of them before the launch. So, let’s take a look at these so-called Weapon Vaults and find out what they actually do.
Modern Warfare 2 Weapon Vault

For the FJX Cinder and in general, the Modern Warfare 2 Weapon Vault is like a big set of blueprints.
It basically has all the attachments from the given weapon platform (more on that in the next section), and to make things even better, they all keep the “cosmetic properties on all attachments native to its base platform.”
If you want the FJX Cinder vault from the beginning, you have to buy the Vault Edition, which costs $100. (or whatever the local equivalent is).
I think this isn’t the only Weapon Vault you’ll find in the game, though. And I’m going to guess that they will cost a lot of money.
So, that’s what the COD Modern Warfare 2 Weapon Vault is and what it does. Now, I’ve already talked about weapon platforms. What does that mean?
It’s part of how the Gunsmith system has been changed. You can read more about it on the official website or in our guide, but here’s a quick summary.
The Receiver is a new part of the upgrade system that you will notice. This attachment changes the type of the weapon while keeping the same weapon platform.
So, if you have the right Receiver, it can turn the FJX Cinder assault rifle into an SMG. From what I know, you can also use some attachments with multiple Receivers. That should make it easier to connect things.
