When it comes to improving the meeting experience, Microsoft appears to be looking at games as an option.
Right now, Microsoft is only using its Casual Games offering for internal testing, and the company has the option of not making this integration available to individuals and businesses. On the subject of Microsoft Teams games, Microsoft refused to respond to questions.
Microsoft has been constantly updating Teams to make it easier for remote workers to communicate and collaborate. Nearly two years ago, Microsoft Teams added Together Mode as one of the first additions for the pandemic era. Since then, Teams has been updated with remote-friendly views and features as well as mobile improvements.
In the future, I’d like to see Xbox Cloud Streaming made available through Teams. Using games for team-building purposes in platforms like Teams could be a huge future market that has so far remained largely unexplored.
