For me, it’s completely changed and refreshed the gameplay. Road to romance adds rabbithole dates and romance skills, while woohoo wellness overhauls pregnancy and adds pregnancy wishes (some sims want children, others are neutral, and still others don’t want any).
Pregnancy desires are also linked to sim characteristics. My family-oriented sims always want children, whereas my sims who despise children refuse to have children.
Because I can determine the sims’ aspirations and careers based on their talents, or make the sims overcome all odds to be good at one of their weaknesses, talents and weaknesses make the game more realistic. It only took one.

I recently discovered their mods, and oh my, they have completely transformed my Sims 4 experience!! So many more thoughtful and well-considered approaches to emotions, responses, and interactions. If you’re playing The Sims 4 on Windows or Mac, you can add custom content (CC) and mods to make it your own. If you’re new to modding games, installing them can be difficult, but The Sims 4 makes it relatively simple.
Downloading mods and CC is completely safe. Malware or viruses will not be included in creators’ downloads. Many creators host their downloads on sites that have pop-up ads, despite the fact that they have a genuine passion for The Sims.
No mods are allowed, and if caught, your account will be banned. On the other hand, you can make a mod that improves the game. So EA may want you to join their team, which is unlikely, or they may ban you and take/use your idea and do whatever they want with it because it is unlicensed.
Players who are caught using this type of mod content will be unable to play the game and will have their EA accounts permanently banned. As a result, anyone who indulges in nefarious whims will be banned. Anyone with heinous perversions or a history of extreme violence.
