Kitengela Woman Video Viral Online: A man from Kitengela in Kajiado County, Kenya, who was 24 years old, is said to have killed his 23-year-old girlfriend by stabbing her five times. He then allegedly killed himself with the knife.
The couple’s bodies were taken to the morgue at Shalom Community Hospital in Athi River.
Police said that the crime happened in the woman’s one-bedroom home on December 21 at night.
Officer Benson Mutiya of the Kitengela DCI told The Standard that Paul Kanaika, the caretaker of the building where the woman lived, reported the incident on December 22 in the morning.

“The caretaker told Mutiya that he hadn’t seen the woman leave her house as she usually did.”
The DCI officer said, “He said that when he looked into the woman’s apartment on the fifth floor of the building, he saw two bodies: the tenant and her boyfriend.”

The caretaker said that the body of the man was in the living room and that of the man’s girlfriend was in the bathroom.
Initial investigations showed that the woman had been stabbed five times, while the man had only been stabbed once in the chest.
Kitengela DCI officer Benson Mutiya said, “We found a kitchen knife that we think was used in the murder-suicide.”
Initial investigations showed that the man only known as Kibet was the boyfriend of the dead person only known as Chepng’eno.
