His family hasn’t said what caused Dave’s death. He was last seen in a TikTok on Operation Hangover just yesterday.

In the latest TikTok posted to the Operation Hangover account, a member of Dave’s family confirmed that he had died. They told Carla, who hasn’t talked about Dave’s death yet, that she was trying to “rest.”

Many of Dave’s fans say they saw him live on TikTok hours before the news of his death spread.

In a TikTok posted by Operation Hangover’s official account, a woman who says she is Dave’s sister said she couldn’t figure out how to go live on the app to announce his death because she isn’t tech-savvy.

She said that she and her sister had Dave’s phone, so they could post the TikTok through his account to confirm that he had died.

Dave’s death has broken the hearts of his fans

Dave’s TikTok was followed by more than 10,000 people. He was known for writing about some of the most dangerous things people did online, like the Banana and Sprite Challenge.

Fans have filled his videos with tributes because they can’t get over how sad it is that he died.

One person said, “I’m so sorry to hear about Dave. I’ve become very close with him.” He will be sorely missed. This really hurts my feelings. RIP DAVE.”

“This showed me for sure that he is gone.” I just hoped it was a rumor and Dave was fine… my condolences,” said someone else.

A third fan said, “I can’t believe this. I’m sorry for all of you.” RIP Dave”
