Is cartoon network shutting down?

Let us tell you that Cartoon Network will not be shutting down in 2022. In fact, the network has big plans and new ideas for this year.

Warner Bros. would have made a formal announcement if the channel was really going to close, but that hasn’t happened.

Instead, Sam Register, an American TV producer and the president of Warner Bros., talked about the plans for the future of Cartoon Network Studios.

He told Vulture on May 6, 2022, that they are now signing creators to “cross-studio overall deals.” This means that a showrunner at WB Animation can now work at CN Studios on something new or vice versa.

Plans like these would not have been made public if the company was really going to close in a few months.
