This weekend, Mayweather will fight MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura from Japan. This will be Mayweather’s fourth exhibition fight, after he fought Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018, Logan Paul in 2021, and Don Moore earlier this year.

But because of the different time zones, the showcase will be shown on Saturday evening, September 24th, for most fans in the US.

Mayweather vs. Asakura will only be available to watch live on FITE TV and PPV.com in the US and UK.

In the US, users will pay $29.99 to watch the event on both FITE TV and PPV.com. Fans in the UK can buy the event for only £19.99.

Importantly, Mayweather and Asakura are not the main attraction of the event. The MMA organization RIZIN will hold their next pay-per-view event right after the boxing exhibition match.

For about $14.99, FITE TV lets you buy the rest of the RIZIN 38 event. Fans should also know that when they buy the event, the FITE TV package comes with unlimited replays of the event.

What time is Mayweather vs. Asakura supposed to start?

As was already said, Mayweather vs. Asakura is a warm-up for RIZIN 38. However, the boxing exhibition part of the broadcast will start at the following international times:

Pacific Time – 8 PM (Saturday, September 24th)
11 p.m. Eastern Time (Saturday, September 24th)
British Time – 4 AM (Sunday, September 25th)
European Time – 5 AM (Sunday, September 25th)

The fight between Floyd Mayweather and Mikuru Asakura is expected to start between 5 AM and 6 AM BST (9 PM-10 PM PT/12 AM-1 AM ET).

Due to the RIZIN 38 event happening right after, it’s not possible to give a better update on when Mayweather and Asakura will walk into the ring.

But the next MMA event is said to start at 7 AM BST (11 PM PT/2 AM ET). This means that the exhibition fight between Mayweather and Asakura will probably be over by 6.45 AM BST (10.45 PM PT/1.45 AM ET at the latest).
