How to Turn Off Crossplay on PC in Modern Warfare 2 If you’re having trouble and can’t figure out how to turn off crossplay in MW2 on PC, don’t worry. On PC, the option to turn off crossplay in Modern Warfare 2 is not working as it should. It’s not really there at all right now, and that seems to be on purpose. Also, is there anything else you can do? Well, let’s find out.

How to Turn Off Crossplay on PC in Modern Warfare 2

If you want to turn off or disable crossplay in MW2 on PC, you usually have to do the same things you have to do on Xbox.

Just go to the Multiplayer menu and click the cog in the top right corner instead of the match button.

Find Crossplay in the Account & Networks section and turn it off. At least, things should be like that. Sad to say, just like with Xbox, this option has been taken away from PC players by the developers.

To make matters worse, you don’t even have the option to turn off crossplay through your console settings, while Xbox users do. I’m afraid you’re stuck with crossplay for now unless you know of another way around it.
