On September 30, 2022, at 4:30 a.m. ET, you’ll be able to preload Overwatch 2. But keep in mind that the pre-installation needs 50GB of space, so if you haven’t already, you might want to clear some space before preloading.

How To Preload Overwatch 2 On PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Nintendo Switch

Overwatch 2 can’t be preloaded until October 4, 2022, at 12 p.m. ET, but unlike on PC, it only needs 30GB of space.

Overwatch 2 will be playable on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The games should be easy to load ahead of time on these consoles.

For PlayStation 4 as well as 5, go to the Overwatch preview, press “Options,” and choose “Check for Update.”
