Once you know where Mr. Arneson is, you’ll need to find him quickly in the Bayou. Even though the swamps are dangerous, you have to go right away that night because the matter is important.
Even during the day, the Bayou is a dangerous place. At night, it’s even worse. Plus, the sheriff and his men will try to stop you, which will make things even worse. But they think that the Bayou will take care of the problem and leave them alone.
The way to the ritual grounds through the Bayou is a dangerous one. Follow the flames and white flowers to get to where you need to go. At some point, you get to a place where alligators are standing in the way.
If you try to sneak by them, they will see you and flip your little boat, turning you and Watson into a quick meal. Since you need to go that way, how do you get past them? Just before the alligators, you should make a right turn.
This path will lead you around a small island where alligators are blocking the way. When you get to higher ground and get out of your boat, Sherlock will see several bodies hanging above the swamp, just above the alligators.
The game will switch to Dr. Watson, and there will be a short first-person shooter segment. In other words, you need to kill the three corpses quickly before the timers run out.
The dead bodies will draw the gators’ attention for a while as they eat them. Now, go back to the boat and use it to get back to where the alligators were. You can now go where you want.
