Way to Unlock Rotom Phone Cases in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need a save file from one of four older Pokemon games to unlock and get different Rotom Phone cases. Well, technically there are seven, since three of them are just different versions of the same game.
These games include Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee or Pikachu, and Pokemon Sword or Shield.
Each of the four games has a phone case for Rotom that looks different, and you can get them all if you have the right save files. It’s not the most exciting bonus, but it’s a nice little thing to look at. Yes, BDSP’s old saves let you get Mew and Jirachi way too early, but oh well.
Now, there’s one more thing you need to do to unlock and get the special Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Rotom Phone cases. You have to play until you get to Mesagoza’s main square.
At the bottom of the big stairs that lead up to the plaza, there is a woman wearing a blue jacket, pink pants, and sunglasses. Talk to her, and she’ll tell you that she can look at your phone to find out about your past. A scary sentence, if I’ve ever heard one.
Anyway, she can sell you the phone cases. About two hours into the game, give or take, you’ll meet the woman. Obviously, it will depend on how you play.
