The open beta for MultiVersus is in full swing, and hundreds of thousands of players are taking part in all-out fights on the 2D platform. Set up a WB Games Account before entering the ring and taking control of one of the characters.
You can do this no matter what platform you play on, since there is no special launcher for each publisher on PC and no extra steps to take on PlayStation or Xbox.

When you open MultiVersus for the first time, it will ask you how old you are. Children can’t join unless their parents agree to the rules. After that, if you don’t already have a WB Games account linked to your Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, or Xbox profile, you’ll be asked to make one. There are two simple ways to get one set up.
If you know how to use your phone well, there will be a QR code on the screen that you can scan with the camera on your phone. This will take you to the website for WB, where you can set up your account. account.wbgames.com/device can also be reached from any browser.
Open the page in your browser and type the device code from the game into it. On the left side of the MultiVersus menu, there will be an eight-character code. You’ll use it to link your WB Games account to MultiVersus. If something goes wrong, you can choose “Refresh Device Token” to make a new character or QR code.
When you get to the main page for making an account, click “No, make a new account.” You will be asked to enter your date of birth. Do that, and then type in the email address you want to use for your WB Games account.
Lastly, you’ll be able to change your WB Display name from the one that was chosen at random to one that you choose. Just click on the text field, highlight the name that comes up by default, and type in the one you want to use instead.
If you’re using Steam or Epic Games and open your browser while you’re playing, the page will know and choose your launcher for you. Console players and people who got to the site outside of the game will have to choose which platform they want to use. The MultiVersus open beta supports full crossplay and cross-progression, so your WB account can be used on all of them. You’ll just need to connect other platforms to the site using your device code.

How to redeem a digital code on the PlayStation®5
On the PlayStation®5 Game Home Menu, press the cross button on your wireless controller to highlight the PlayStationTMStore hub and choose it.
Go to the top of the Store and click on the Categories bar. Next to the shopping cart icon, click on the “…” icon.
Select “Redeem Code” from the list of options you can choose from.
Enter your code and press the “X” to move on.
Now you’ll be able to see the content you’re trying to get. Select the option to confirm and the cross button.
When the message says that the code has been redeemed, press the “OK” button.
The content should download automatically, but if it doesn’t or if you want to do it yourself, go to the game page in your Game Library from the Games Home Menu.
How to redeem a digital code on the PlayStation®4
On the PlayStation®4 Home screen, press the cross button on your wireless controller to highlight PlayStationTMStore and choose it.
On the left side of the screen, press the down button until “Redeem Codes” is highlighted. Then, press the cross button to choose it.
Enter your code by pressing the cross button, then press the R2 button and choose Continue.
Now, a list of the digital content you are redeeming will appear. Select the option to confirm, and then press the cross button.
When a message confirms that the code has been redeemed, press the “OK” button with the cross on it.
The content should automatically download, but if it doesn’t or if you want to do it yourself, go to the game tile in your Library on the Home screen.

Along the top menu bar of Steam, choose Game.
Click on “Activate Product on Steam” at the bottom.
Move on to the next few windows and type in the 15-digit redemption code. This turns on your digital key.

- Open your web browser and go to www.xbox.com.
- Sign into your Xbox Live account.
- Find the “Redeem Code” button about halfway down the page on the left side once the page has loaded. This is under the Avatar that the user made.
- If you need to, you can set up your account’s billing information in the next few windows.
- In the “Redeem Code” field, type in the 25-digit GFWL code.
- Go to the DLC download page.
Using the Xbox 360’s interface to redeem codes
- Turn on your Xbox and create a profile.
- Press the button on the controller that says “Guide”
- Click the “Redeem Code” button on the Marketplace tab on the left.
- Enter the 25-digit code and click “Download” to get your DLC.
