How To Heal In The Callisto Protocol: The Callisto Protocol is a new scary adventure from the same company that made Dead Space. Along the way, you will run into terrifying creatures and enemies who will hurt you in some way. In The Callisto Protocol, this guide tells you how to heal.

Healing is a must in this game, since you can’t avoid getting hurt if it’s your first time. If you are a “pro” at the game and know how to play it well, you may be okay. But if this is your first time doing this, you might get a couple of jump scares that will cost you some health.

In this game, there are several ways to get better. But you should try to save them and only use them if your life is in danger. Items that heal are rare and hard to find.

How To Heal In The Callisto Protocol

In The Callisto Protocol, you will need to heal a lot because you will take a lot of damage.

There aren’t many healing items in the game, but there are a few ways to get them.

Use Health Gel

The first item is Health Gel, which restores 35% of Jacob’s health. These are the things you are most likely to come across.

After killing an enemy, you can hover over its body and press Triangle or Y, depending on whether you’re playing on PlayStation or Xbox. If you do this, you will brutally step on the dead body of your enemy.

After you do this, you’ll be able to steal from the enemy, who has a few things like Callisto Credits and Health Gel. If your enemy drops some Health Gel, you can pick it up and use it by pressing X or A.

Unfortunately, you have to use this item right away. If your health is full, you can’t save it for later.

Health Injectors are much better than Health Gels because you can keep them in your inventory and they heal Jacob’s health much more. You can get them in a couple of different ways.

First, you can steal these from crates. or boxes that hang on the walls in the Black Iron Prison:

You can also buy Health Injectors from the printer stations that are spread out around the game, but they aren’t cheap.

These healing items will cost you 500 Callisto Credits, which is a lot more than the 200-500 Callisto Credits that some of the early weapon and skill upgrades cost. It’s best to only buy these when you really need to.

After you find a Health Injector, all you have to do to heal yourself is hold down on your D-Pad. Just be aware that you can still be attacked while using the Injector, and if you are, you might not be able to use it all.
