Move the Pitch slider in either direction to change the pitch. Some say that sliding it all the way down fixes the problem, while others say that is the worst setting.
So, the only real way to get rid of the robotic voice is to move the slider up or down and see if it goes away. If not, rinse and repeat until you get it right.
Even though it’s not the most elegant solution, it’s the only one that will work for now. Even so, it’s just a temporary fix.
