How to Find Aether Biome in Terraria

How to Find Aether Biome in Terraria : A lot of players are having trouble finding the new Terraria biome that was added in Update 1.4.4.1: Labor of Love, the Aether Biome.

It’s not easy to find, though, because there’s only one in each world. But there’s a lot to look for in there, so you should find an Aether Cave as soon as you can. So, now that you know all of that, here’s how to find them.

How to Find Aether Biome in Terraria

To find the new Aether Cave Biome in Terraria, you must first start a new world within a week of downloading and installing the Labor of Love update.

No world that was seeded before that will have the new area. Once that’s out of the way, look around until you find out which side the Jungle biome is on.

That’s where the Aether Cave will be. Lastly, but most importantly, find the Ocean on that side of the world and start digging. When you get to the Cavern layer, you’re getting close.

You’ll have to keep exploring until you find a place with a sky full of stars and a big pool of Shimmer. Mind you, this is going to be a lot of work, but it will be well worth it for all that precious Shimmer.

And there you have it, that’s how to find the Terraria Aether Cave Biome. Again, it’ll take some time, but don’t give up. Also, only one Aether Cave will spawn in a world, so keep that in mind.

So, after all that, what is this Shimmer that I keep talking about? Well, we went over that in detail in our Shimmer Liquid, How to Get and Use It guide, but here’s a quick rundown.

Shimmer is a new liquid added by the Labor of Love update. It has many strange properties. It can change and upgrade items (except the ones it downgrades or breaks into resources), let you fall through blocks, and do a lot more.
