How to Hard Slide Tackle in FIFA 23
Before we talk about Mbappe’s specific challenge, let’s look at how to do a “Hard Slide” Tackle in FIFA 23.
EA says that this type of move is a “new sliding tackle type that is meant for more urgent situations where you want to get rid of the attacker but don’t necessarily want to keep the ball in play.”
To do this move with a DualSense or DualShock 4 PlayStation controller, all you have to do is press the R1 and Square buttons together while controlling a defender.
On the other hand, to do the “Hard Slide Tackle” move as a defender, press RB + X on an Xbox controller.
How to Complete a Tackle with Mbappe
In FIFA 23 FUT MOMENTS challenges, getting a tackle with Mbappe shouldn’t be too hard. Still, some players say that some of the challenges are broken and won’t count.
Here’s what to do if you’re having trouble with this challenge. Using Mbappe to foul an AI player is the easiest way to do it. Even if you foul the AI while making a Slide Tackle, the challenge will still count it.
Make sure to do it from the front, though. If you foul Mbappe from behind with a “Hard Slide Tackle,” you will get a red card.
If you miss a tackle during a game, you can just start that FUT MOMENT over and try again. You won’t get in trouble for doing that.
