To change the Wanderer’s name, you must first do the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act III – Inversion of Genesis quest As Though Morning Dew. Here, you’ll be able to give him a new name.

Also, there can’t be a space in his new name. Which means you can’t name him Billy Bob or something else with two parts. If you call him any of these, he will not like it.
