How to Catch Mesprit Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
In the middle of the cave is where Mesprit will be waiting. The bird will fly away as soon as you touch it. Professor Rowan will show up and tell you to follow the Marking Map on your Poketch. Then you can figure out where Mesprit is and go there to catch the Pokemon.
This is where the problem starts, because Mesprit won’t stay still. If you want to know where to find Mesprit, the place moves around. If you use fly, they will go to a completely different place when you travel. Even if you walk there, they will have moved by the time you get there. This means you have to think of some smart ways to meet it.
One of the best ways is to go to a city with more than one way out. Try going across the border and back until the Pokemon shows up on a route near the town.
There are two good places for this. On Route 205, Floaroma Town and the Valley Windworks are good places to keep going. This method also works well in Jubilife City, which has a lot of exits.
Save the game as soon as the Pokemon is in the right place. You can then try again, even if another Pokemon gets in the way or you don’t catch it. You can look for Mesprit in the tall grass in both of these places.
When you run into Mesprit, you only get one turn before it runs away, at which point you have to start over. There are a few things you can do to avoid this.
The first thing you should do is use your Master Ball, if you haven’t already. Besides that, try to keep it still. Mean Look can make it stop running away. The good news is that the damage you do stays with you until the next fight, making the next fight easier.
