And, in our opinion, it’s one of the best things about Warzone 2. This is because there are different kinds of missions, story elements, and both single-player and multiplayer parts.
In Warzone 2 DMZ, this guide will show you how to take over a SAM site, shoot down an airplane, and loot a dropped supply drop.
How to Capture a SAM Site in Warzone 2 DMZ
First of all, let’s look at what you need to do to take control of one of these SAM Sites. The first thing you need to do is find a SAM site on your map. Many players are confused because mission icons are usually the green ones on the map.
In this case, though, you should look for the white rocket or missile. Try to find the one closest to where you start, based on where you spawn. That will make it less likely that you’ll run into other players there. So, it will be easier for you to clear and capture that SAM Site.
Before you go to the site, make sure you have enough armor plates and ammunition. When you get to the nearest SAM Site, you’ll find a lot of NPC enemies there.
Take them out as quickly as you can, and then use the computer on a missile launcher. The words “Capture Time” will show up on a bar. It will slowly fill up until you take full control of this SAM Site.
During this time, you’ll have to keep NPCs and other players from attacking the site.
Once the process is done, the missile launcher will start shooting at any nearby planes. Here, you don’t have to do anything. It will take care of itself.
You’ll only have to protect it until it shoots down a plane carrying supplies. Once it locks down on a supply plane, you’ll be told, and you’ll actually see it hit a plane. The first two tasks are now done.
