Has The Rings Of Power Season 2 Begun Filming?

No, season 2 of The Rings of Power hasn’t started filming yet.

Tech Radar says, however, that the show’s executive producer Lindsey Weber said that the crew is “totally consumed” with making season two.

“And in a few short weeks, we start shooting season two, which is all any of us can think about right now,” she said.

Considering this, it’s possible that filming could start as soon as September 2022.

On the other hand, there is a big difference. The first season of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Rings of Power all took place in New Zealand. However, Patrick told The Playlist that season 2 will take place in the UK.

Most of the time, fans have to wait until the season is over to find out if the show will continue. Fans of The Lord of the Rings don’t have to worry, though, because Amazon has already committed to five seasons.
