Basketball fans all over the world are already playing NBA 2K23 and exploring The City and the MyCareer story mode with their characters.
But like most NBA 2K releases, the game is currently full of bugs. One bug stops players from finishing the “Going National” Business District quest.
Because NBA 2K23 freezes and crashes when they try to speak to Uncle Bobby in Perco Latte (Perc-O-Latte). Another bug says, “You are not allowed to play or simulate games until the next quest is finished.” Read on for possible solutions to these problems.
You Are Not Allowed to Play or Simulate Games Until the Following Quest Is Completed
Some players have a big problem with the Going National quest because it doesn’t show up in the list of quests. Even worse, it stops players from getting better and playing MyCareer NBA games. There are two things we can do about this. First, make sure to talk to the girl inside the office building. She’s not easy to find, so make sure you look everywhere in the office until you do.
The second thing you can do to fix this problem is to finish the Music and Fashion questlines. We can’t say for sure that this is a requirement, but some players say that the “Going National” quest didn’t show up again until they finished these two other major MyCareer storylines.

Once you finish the “Welcome to the League” quest in NBA 2K23 MyCareer, four new main questlines will become available. Not Your Father’s Hot Dogs is the one that will start the Business District questline.
And, for the most part, it should be pretty easy. That is, until the “Going National” quest requires you to go to Perco Latte (pronounced “Perc-O-Latte”).
One of the last tasks in this questline is the “Going National” quest in NBA 2K23 MyCareer. For a commercial shoot, you’ll need to go to Perc-O-Latte and meet Uncle Bobby there.
The quest seems to be broken right now, which is a shame. Specifically, a number of players say that when they try to talk in Perco Latte, NBA 2K23 just crashes.
When they press A (or X on PS) to talk, MyCareer stops working. Is there a way to get around this bug? Unfortunately, there aren’t many solutions for this right now.
Some players say that changing the time zone fixed the “Going National Perc-O-Latte” bug for them. Others say that logging in and out of their 2K account helped them get around this problem in the end.
But these solutions haven’t been tested and proven to work 100% of the time.
It seems that for many people, this bug gets fixed on its own. As things are now, it looks like we will have to wait until the developers fix the problem.
