Girl in the Picture premieres on Netflix at what time? The 30-year-old mystery surrounding Sharon Marshall’s identity and disappearance will be the subject of a new true crime documentary arriving on Netflix this week. Skye Borgman, the director of Abducted in Plain Sight on Netflix and Dead Asleep on Hulu, is behind the camera for Girl in the Picture.
Franklin Lloyd kidnapped Sharon Marshall as a child. For his own gain, he drove her all over the country, even taking her to strip joints. The story is both heartbreaking and chilling, and the documentary about it will be released this Friday, July 6, in its entirety.
The journalist Matt Birkbeck, who is also an executive producer on the film, wrote non-fiction books Finding Sharon and A Beautiful Child, which appear in the documentary. There are many people who know Birkbeck because of his work on the Durst case. Jimmy Fox, an Emmy-winning producer, is also listed as a co-producer.
