The attack happened in a park called Annecy, which is located in the beautiful French Alps. Six people got hurt, including a very young baby who was only 22 months old. The four children who were hurt, between 22 and 36 months old, were in critical condition and had to go to the hospital.
Later, it was discovered that the person who did this was originally from Syria and had come to France as a refugee. But his application to stay in France was denied because he already had refugee status in Sweden.
