Elora Danan In Willow Movie Explained
From the 1988 movie, we know that Elora is a Daikini child and that, according to the prophecies, she will be the one to get rid of the evil Queen Bavmorda. People say that she will be born with a mark, so Bavmorda kept an eye on every pregnancy in the land.
Elora was indeed born, but she was taken away from the queen before she could kill her. Her mother and the midwife who helped save her life both died.
Elora moved to the Nelwyn village, where she met Willow for the first time.
Willow is told to take Elora to the Daikini crossroads after a raid on the village. It is on this trip that Elora learns the details of the prophecy from a magical being named Cherlindrea.
The evil queen still wants Elora, and she does get her in the end. But her plans to kill her once and for all don’t work out.
Willow helps Elora, and Bavmorda is almost killed by her own spell. At the end of the movie, the two groups go their separate ways, and we never find out what happened to Elora. But now, something has changed. In the new Willow, who is Elora Danan?
Who Is Elora Danan In The 2022 Willow Series?
Early on in the series, it’s shown that Elora is really a cook named Dove (played by Ellie Bamber).
The series takes place 20 years after the events of the movie. At first, it seems like no one knows where or who Elora is, but it turns out that Sorsha helped hide her, and she changed her name to Brunhilde (Dove is just a nickname).
Her love interest is Airk, who is Sorsha’s son. In the series, she gets mixed up in the kidnapping of the prince. She runs into Willow again, and this time she finds out who she really is.
