Dying Light 1 was recently made free on the Epic Games Store for a limited time, so make sure to get it if you haven’t already.
This has given a lot of people who haven’t been able to play the game before the chance to do so. Unfortunately, this has also caused a number of problems with the game, both old and new.
One problem is that Dying Light’s settings don’t save and keep going back to the way they were. We all know that problems like this can make it hard to have fun with a game.
So, is there anything you can do to fix the problem where your Dying Light settings don’t save and keep getting reset? There is, luckily, and we will show you how to do it right here in our guide.

Dying Light Settings Keep Resetting & Not Saving Issue Fix
So, what should you do if your Dying Light 1 Enhanced Edition settings are not being saved? First, an important note. You are doing this at your own risk, so you should know that there is always a chance that something will go wrong when you change the game files in this way.
Since this is the case, the best thing to do first is to make a copy of the “C:UsersDocumentsDyingLight” folder. After that, go to the directory where the game was installed.
Look for a file with the name DyingLightGame.exe. Right-click on that file and choose “Send to Desktop (Create Shortcut)” to make a shortcut to it on your desktop.
