Does Ticket to Paradise have post credit scene: Ticket to Paradise makes me think right away of Roberts and Clooney’s rocky relationship in the Ocean’s Eleven movies, where they were the main couple.
Even though they’ve been in a lot of movies together, like Money Monster in 2016, this is their first real romantic comedy together.
It mostly works because they haven’t changed how they do things. Aside from the joke where a dolphin goes straight for David’s crotch (he later says it’s a leg injury, but the evidence says otherwise) and some drunk boomer dancing, there’s not much here that’s gurning or silly.
It’s fun to see George Clooney and Julia Roberts fall in love. Even more fun is seeing them fight with each other. As bitter ex-spouses in Ticket to Paradise who fly to Bali to stop their daughter (Kaitlyn Dever) from getting married quickly to a local seaweed farmer (Maxime Bouttier), the two get a lot of snarky comments.
