Does The School for Good and Evil have post credit scene?

by Ami Dalsania

A fantasy epic doesn’t have to have a big symphonic score. Nor does a final battle made with CGI, some made-up words, or energy beams that shoot out of fingers.

All of these complaints could be made about Brahmastra, and Ayan Mukerji wouldn’t be any the wiser, but right now, they’re best used to talk about The School for Good and Evil, the new movie from director Paul Fieg that’s streaming on Netflix.

Based on a children’s book by Soman Chainani, it’s a long, complicated mess that will remind you of Brahmastra, not just because it’s similar in style, but also because, like Brahmastra, it stole from J.K. Rowling’s work when it could have just slapped someone at the Oscars and gotten away with it.

The School for Good and Evil is based on the first book in Soman Chainani’s six-part series. It tells the story of Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sophia Wylie), two best friends who are taken to the school where fairy tale heroes and villains are made. What is it? Sophie is “accidentally” sent to the School for Evil, while Agatha ends up in the School for Good.
