She isn’t sure, so she gives him the birth certificate. This makes us think that Ellis’s hopes for a reconciliation are at best unrealistic.

The Inspection is Bratton’s first story, and it’s a great one. It’s complex, makes you feel things, and has a great mix of humor and horror. Everyone should be excited to see what he does next on the screen.
