Does Georgia Die In Ginny & Georgia Season 2? Ginny & Georgia has been on Netflix since February 2021. Since then, there have been many tough times for the two main characters.
In the season 1 finale, we found out that Georgia was responsible for the death of her shady ex-husband, Kenny. The newly released second season brings up more of her troubled past, most notably her abusive relationship with her ex-boyfriend and Austin’s father, Gil.
Gil shows up out of the blue in season 2 after being in prison for a while because Georgia framed him for embezzlement. He brings with him a whole new set of problems for Georgia and her family to deal with.
But what happens to Georgia after Gil comes back in Ginny & Georgia season 2? Does she die?

No, Georgia doesn’t die at the end of season 2 of Ginny & Georgia.
But Gil’s move to Wellsbury puts her in danger, especially after Georgia stops him from moving to the made-up town in Massachusetts.
In episode 9, Gil’s violent side comes out again when he finds out that Cynthia turned down his apartment application. He storms into Georgia and her family’s house and starts pushing her around and yelling at her.
At the end of the scary scene, Austin finds one of Georgia’s hidden guns and shoots his own father in the shoulder to protect his mother.
Georgia is shocked by what happened, but she makes sure that her kids are safe and that both Gil and the wall are fixed before her fiance Paul gets home.
Gil’s plans to blackmail Georgia seem to be ruined when she tells Paul about what’s been going on and Paul threatens to throw the book at Gil to get him to leave Georgia alone for good.
What happened to Georgia in Ginny & Georgia Season 2?
Georgia survives Gil’s return in season 2, but she spends the last episode of the season in police custody because she was arrested at her wedding in episode 10.
In the two-part episodes 8 and 9, Georgia kills Cynthia Fuller’s husband Tom, who is dying of cancer, to stop their family from suffering. Austin was hiding in the room to play hide-and-seek and secretly watched Georgia kill Tom.
When Gabriel Cordova, a private investigator, finds out that Georgia was there when Tom died, he immediately thinks she had something to do with it. This leads to her shocking arrest in the last scene of the season 2 finale.
Gabriel hasn’t said how he got enough evidence to order Georgia’s arrest, but we think that Gil may have had something to do with it and may have tipped off Cordova. This could have happened if Austin, who tends to say embarrassing things, accidentally told Gil what Georgia did.
