Does Chadwick Boseman Have A Son In Black Panther : Even though Ryan Coogler was coming back to lead the project, it was never going to be simple.
Chadwick Boseman, who played the main character in the first movie, died of colon cancer in 2020, and his absence, along with that of his character T’Challa, looms large over the high-budget sequel.
But a detail near the end has made people who missed T’Challa ask a question or two: Does Chadwick Boseman
Does Chadwick Boseman Have A Son In Black Panther
No, Chadwick Boseman doesn’t have any kids, but in Wakanda Forever, his Black Panther character T’Challa has a son.
In the middle of the credits for the second movie, the new and unexpected young character is shown.
Shuri goes to Haiti to see Nakia, where she finds out that T’Challa and Nakia had a son who died of an unknown illness at the beginning of the movie.
Before T’Challa died, he and his wife Toussaint agreed that the heir to the throne wasn’t ready to meet the people of Wakanda yet. So, Nakia has been raising him in secret, even though Queen Ramonda knows he exists and they’ve met.
In the end, Toussaint’s parents wanted him to have a normal childhood before he entered a world of royalty, high expectations, and great importance.
As you now know, Chadwick didn’t have any kids before he died, and Divine Love Konadu-Sun plays T’Challa’s son.
He has never been on screen before, and Toussaint is his first role.
Still, the fact that the scene during the credits was so important suggests that Divine will be back to play the role in future MCU movies. When that will happen, though, is still unknown.
