Daisy Jones And The Six Fleetwood Mac

Daisy Jones And The Six Fleetwood Mac: Amazon has released a trailer for the upcoming miniseries “Daisy Jones and the Six,” which will star Riley Keough and Sam Claflin.

The Prime series is based on the popular 2019 book by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which tells the story of a rock band led by Daisy Jones and Billy Dune and their rise and fall.

Based on the trailer, the Amazon adaptation seems to follow the same plot as the book, which is a documentary about why the band decided to break up.

Fans will have to wait until March 3, 2023, to see the first episode of the show, but the new trailer has gotten people excited and has made many people wonder who the band is based on.

Daisy Jones And The Six Fleetwood Mac

Daisy Jones and the Six isn’t “based” on a real band, but Fleetwood Mac is an obvious influence.

Jenkins Reid said that the idea came from the website “Hello Sunshine,” which was started by Reece Witherspoon. In a personal story called “How Fleetwood Mac influenced “Daisy Jones and the Six,” she talks about how the chemistry between Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks impacted her creative process.

During the band’s long tour, one moment in particular stood out to her. She said, “I couldn’t stop thinking about the time Lindsey watched Stevie sing “Landslide.”

Jenkins Reid was so moved by how real the feeling was that it gave her the idea for the story of Daisy Jones and the Six.

She said, “I wanted to write a story about that, about how the lines between real life and performance can get blurry, and about how singing about old wounds might keep them fresh.”

Jenkins Reid went on to say that other bands and duos helped with the process, but the book shows that there are clear parallels. The documentary style reminds me a lot of the Behind the Music episode about Fleetwood Mac.
