Chainsaw Man Episode 9 Release Date & Time: What day and time will episode 9 of Chainsaw Man come out around the world, and what happened in the last episode, “Gunfire”?
Chainsaw Man keeps getting better with each new episode, and the eighth one, which aired last week, was arguably one of the best episodes of the entire Fall season so far.
The series is also the highest-rated anime that MAPPA has made on MyAnimeList, with a fantastic 8.83/10.
Chainsaw Man Episode 9 Release Date & Time
Chainsaw Man episode 9 will be shown for the first time in Japan on Wednesday, December 7, and for most of the rest of the world on Tuesday, December 6.
The eighth episode of the adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original manga by MAPPA will be available to stream worldwide on Crunchyroll at the following times:
- 9 a.m. on the West Coast, 12 p.m. on the East Coast.
- 5 PM British Time
- European Time – 6 PM India Time – 10:30 PM
- Philippine Time – 1 AM
- 3:30 AM Australia Central Daylight Time

A Quick Review of “Gunfire,” Episode 8
Himeno tried to seduce Denji in the eighth episode of Chainsaw Man, but our main character thought of Makima when he found a Chupa Chups candy in his pocket. He says he’s sorry to Pochita and tells her that he only wants to lose his virginity with Makima.
Himeno and Denji agree that what they did the night before was wrong, but they make a deal: Himeno will help Denji get with Makima if Denji will help Himeno get with Aki.
Makima is on her way to Kyoto to meet with her bosses when people around her pull out guns. Makima is shot in the head, and all of the Public Safety officers who were with her die.
Division 4 members are being killed all over the country in the style of “Order 66.” Denji, Himeno, Power, and Aki are eating breakfast in a ramen shop when a mysterious man comes in and asks Denji how he likes his food. The man then pulls out a picture of the Yakuza boss Denji worked for in the first episode and pulls out his own gun. He shoots Denji and Himeno before being eaten by Aki’s Kon.
The man changes into a hybrid devil form with katana swords coming out of his body and cuts his way out of Kon. Aki is able to beat him, but another blonde girl steps in.
Himeno kills herself so that her Ghost Devil can defeat these two unknown attackers. However, the creature is eaten by a giant snake that the blonde-haired woman is controlling. At the end of the episode, Himeno’s clothes are all that are left, and the Ghost Devil has been defeated.
