There’s a gun, some other useful things, and $50 in there for you. And all homestead stashes, even Catfish Jackson’s, count toward the achievement/trophy “Breaking and Entering.”

So, here’s where to find and how to get the stash in Red Dead Redemption 2: Catfish Jackson’s Homestead.

In Red Dead Redemption 2, you have to go way south of Lemoyne to find Catfish Jackson’s house. You can start in Rhodes and head south on a horse.

After you reach Braithwaite Manor, keep going south and you’ll find the Catfish Jacksons’ home. The house is very close to where the Lannahechee River meets the bank.

It’s a nice red house, nicer than most houses you see outside of cities. What you have to do to get the stash is a crying shame, but we’ll get to that in a minute.

Now, it’s important to note that Catfish Johnson’s house has different looks depending on when you visit. We saw the father and son having a fight.

But if you get there later, the father might be sleeping in the front of the house, and the sound will be coming from his room.

Then you’ll find the father by himself and angry. In the end, the son will be on his own. But, once more, we got there early. We didn’t want to hear the sad story, but then we made up a much worse one on our own. In that case…

In Red Dead Redemption 2, Catfish Jackson’s homestead stash is in the fireplace’s chimney. We found out about this in the most ruthless way possible.

We basically went right through the front door and into the room where the father and son were sitting. When Arthur’s father pulled a gun on him, we had no choice but to kill him.

Then, we put the poor son in danger with a gun until he told us where the stash was while he was crying for his father. Yaaay. Also, don’t forget to take what you can from the rest of the house. There’s a shotgun on top of the fireplace, a chest under the crawlspace, and stuff in the son’s room.

Some of our readers have pointed out that we could have stopped the fighting by knocking out the father and tying him up. So, if you want to take the less scary path, that’s what you can do. In Red Dead Redemption 2, Catfish Jacksons is not the only homestead stash. In fact, there are seven of them.
