Can’t Redeem Trials Engrams Destiny 2 Lightfall Update: In Destiny 2 Lightfall, if you can’t Focus the Trials Engrams you’ve saved, you’re not the only one with this problem. If you saved any Season 19 Trials Engrams, you might be surprised that you can’t use them to get things like the Trials Armor.
Is this a bug or is it supposed to work this way? What we know is as follows.
Can’t Redeem Trials Engrams Destiny 2 Lightfall Update
Destiny 2’s newest expansion, Lightfall, is finally here! With that, Season 20 starts. There are a lot of things to be happy about, but there are also a lot of bad surprises.
Aside from the problem with Xbox consoles, many players say that after the Destiny 2 Lightfall update, they can’t redeem their Trials Engrams.
A Reddit user named Nillionnaire says, “I can’t turn in the Trials engrams I’ve been saving for legacy gear.” “Does this happen to anyone else?
Has Bungie taken notice of it?” Someone else is upset that he can’t get the Trials Armor. Of course, they have the seven engrams that they need.
So, why is all this going on? Is this a bug or is it supposed to work this way? The new engram system that came with this update is to blame for this.
With the new system, all of the engrams are on the screen for the vendor. This means that if you have any engrams on your character, they are basically useless and you can’t use them to Focus.
If you still have any with Saint-14, who sells items for the Trials of Osiris, they still count. You can turn in those Trials Engrams and use them to help you focus.
So, now you know. So, in Destiny 2 Lightfall, you can’t use your Trials Engrams. They have to be with the vendor and not on your character. We don’t know yet if Bungie will let players transfer their Engrams or if you’ll be unable to use them ever again.
