Bullet train Soundtrack: In Bullet Train, the latest crazy action movie from Atomic Blonde and Hobbs & Shaw director David Leitch, Brian Tyree Henry plays an assassin with the code name Lemon who works with his “twin brother” Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).
Lemon says that he learned everything from watching Thomas the Tank Engine. He even compares everyone he meets to different characters from the show and keeps a sticker book with pictures of the characters to prove his point. In the middle of Bullet Train’s craziness, Lemon says that Thomas says “simple is always better.”
It seems like writer Zak Olkewicz, who is adapting the novel “Maria Beetle” by Kôtarô Isaka, is making fun of how crazy and complicated this movie is going to get. Even though Thomas might be right most of the time, what makes Bullet Train such a wild ride is how silly and twisty it is.

Bullet train Soundtrack: Bullet Train is a lot like a collection of Leitch’s previous movies. It has short, blunt action scenes like in John Wick and Atomic Blonde, but the story is about as silly as Hobbs & Shaw, and it has the humor, cameos, and sly nods of Deadpool 2.
(whereas the comedy here is probably the weakest aspect). But besides having a plot that is too complicated, Bullet Train is boring and often stupid, but it enjoys the kind of caveman-brain fun that comes from watching an action movie like this. If anything, Bullet Train is just a little less silly than Smokin’ Aces, which was full of celebrity assassins.

The White Death, who becomes more important as the story goes on, is at the center of some of Bullet Train’s weakest plot lines.
At first, King and Koji’s scenes seem to have the most to do with The White Death, and compared to the other stories going on in other compartments, theirs slows down the pace of the movie.

It’s a shame, because The White Death is an important part of this story, and Shannon is having a lot of fun with this larger-than-life character, especially when he faces off against Hiroyuki Sanada’s The Elder. However, when Bullet Train starts to look at the bigger picture, it starts to go off the rails.
Bullet train movie is fun with action
At its best, though, Bullet Train shows a game cast having fun with this nonsense, in a movie that always just barely stays on the right side of stupid. Bullet Train tries to make this story about fate and luck that ties everyone together with a bow, but it’s best when it’s just a bunch of famous people trying to kill each other and having fun conversations in between.
